chances of getting into SDSU for fall 09 as an transfer

I'm transferring to SDSU for fall of 09 and I had competed 37 units of my general education. My current G.P.A is 2.8 and also I’m active duty right now but getting out the end of this year. I’m taking 5 classes next semester for spring 2009 to compete my general education. Also, I know that the acceptance letter comes out between Feb. and March. What are the chances of getting in because I need that acceptance letter for my early out packet for the military. Anybody has an advice?

u need to raise ur gpa

Hopefully I can raise my gpa this spring semester. Oh and I actually have 43 units. I have added my fall semester grades for the supplementary application. My question is if the letter of acceptance actually based on the supplementary application?

Also keep in mind you need 60 units by the end of the spring semester before you transfer to be admitted. A transfer admissions spokesperson from SDSU who held a meeting at my school stated that applicants without 60 units on their apps will be automatically rejected.

Is that 60 units by the end of spring 09 wish I plan to complete.

Anything else I need to know?

Like it was said, you need a minimum of 60 credits to transfer. The GPA is also something to consider.

After applying and the supplemental stuff, I do not think there is much you are in control of. Just take the right classes, get good grades, and hope for the best. Counselors should be able to help you with this, if not already done.
