Chances of getting into the University of Arizona from a CC

I'm an incoming freshman at a California Community College. I really want to go to UofA since I couldn't go to ASU for financial reasons. That's why I'm at a CC, to get scholarship money. They said I need 24 units completed by the time I apply and I want to transfer as in incoming sophomore. Since that's really difficult to handle in one semester, they said I can still apply with the units I have and I'd have to turn in my HS transcript. Also I'm taking Math 75 and English 91. I'm a COMS major. Will those classes effect my admission? My HS GPA was a 3.0.

Are my chances any good?

U of A’s really easy to get into (I’m a Tucson native). As long as you have a decent GPA you should be fine.

I agree with rspence, the U of A is not a hard school to get into. Most of the kids at my school applied to all three AZ colleges and got into all of them. They will also hear admissions appeals.

If you have a pulse and a halfway decent GPA you’ll get in (also a Tucson resident here)
