Hello,
I am a Florida student trying to transfer to UCF in the upcoming Fall 2020 semester. I recently graduated from a community college with a 3.17 GPA and 77 semester hours. I’m anxious that I will not be considered with such a low GPA, there was one semester in which I didn’t do well, but for the past year, I have taken 30 hours and made all As except for two classes that I made Bs. What are my chances of being accepted into the Kinesiology program as a transfer student? I have completed all of my prerequisites already as well.
I don’t think your GPA would be an issue. A college GPA is very different from a HS GPA, and yours shows that you have succeeded for TWO YEARS at the college level.
What may or may not be a problem would be the late application, but that will probably depend on which major you are pursuing.
I would CALL UCF Admissions and ask for their advice. They may refer you to the advisors at your upper level college, who may be able to help you more.
