hi, i am currently enrolled in a local community college, and i am planning to transfer to UCF, i don’t know if i have a chance of getting in or not, i did my research and they required a minimum of a 2.0 G.P.A, and if you have less then 60 hours of classes taken you have to submit you high school transcript too. my GPA right now in college is a 1.8, but thats because i quit school to open my own business when i was 21 years old (i am currently 22), but right now i want to finish my degree and i have started school again, i have to retake you classes that i have failed, so changing that 1.8 GPA to at least 3.0 GPA is pretty easy for me, but what would they think about my bad looking transcript? would it matter if i had re taken my classes again to pass them? and i probably have to submit my high school transcript too, which i graduated with a 3.8 GPA. what do you guys think? do i have a chance? or it is hopeless for me?
I think that with improved grades they should accept you. just make sure you meet the core requirements to transfer. You should email admissions to make sure how you can improve your chances for acceptance
I am a transfer student. I transfer to UCF with 62 credit hours. If you have less than 60 credit hours, you must submit your high transcript, any college transcripts from current college institution and previous college institution, AND your SAT or ACT scores. You get 60 credit hours, you need submit everything but the ACT or SAT scores. Plus you get automatic acceptance in UCF if you sign up through direct connect at community college. You might have a chance if you bring up GPA from college, have a good SAT and ACT score, and good GPA from high school
thanks, i finished one semester and my GPA jumped from 1.8 to a 2.2, and i can assume is gonna keep jumping since i am retaking the classes that i failed that year
