Chances of Getting into UC Berkeley as an OOS NJ applicant

Thanks Guys that helps a lot
And Empirical, that gives me a lot of confidence.
Well, theres nothing to do now besides cross my fingers and break 23 on the SATs.

And thanks Kongo. Hopefully you get into your dream school as well!

Cornell is a medium reach, but it’s reachable.

Try UIUC as well… if the deadline hasn’t passed.

thanks Catria, and I am a junior, so I have no deadline to worry about

what the eff is an indian violin?

LOL its not an Indian violin it’s the type of music you play with the violin

oh…cuz i play french horn and I was like what the actual eff is an indian violin lol…good to know im not crazy. since ur here CHANCE ME BRO.

Start less sentences with “I”

Your SATs are strong though your GPA is a little low for Michigan and Berkeley Engineering. That said, I suspect that both will welcome your no-scholarship-financial-aid-full-pay-out-of-state-tuition check very gladly.

Purdue, Case-Western and URochester are probably worth looking at as match/safety options.

thanks guys… and any other feedback helps.

This comment is a Bump

As a side note, I’d recommend looking into Case Western anyway. It’s a very valuable school that can give a lot of financial aid with good grades. My brother got a full ride and went off to work right out of college for a national defense contractor with a high starting salary.
