Chances of getting into UC Santa Cruz using Tag?

Hi all,

So I just applied to ucsc by tagging. I would like to know my chances are since they have a minimum UC GPA of 3.0 to become accepted.

GPA 3.5, UC GPA 3.6
-Half Black, Cherokee
-First to go to a 4 year university in my family

  • Volunteer at hospital related to my future career.
    -Belong to honors society at my school

I am also applying to uc merced, berkeley, and davis in the general filing period. What do you all think my chances are?

If you meet the TAG threshold for your major and complete the required classes and follow the process EXACTLY, you’d really need to blow your essay to miss out.

My guess on the others - UCB - No but the others will welcome you.

UCSC should be a sure bet.
