How are my chances of geting into any of these uni,s i have won several awards like student of the year (i came 2nd in my state ) ,several swimming competitions and i have done some volunteer work for a private ambulance company in my country .</p>
<p>Can your family afford to pay all of your expenses? That may help. Otherwise your chances appear to be average. I wish you luck!</p>

<p>Keep in mind that USC is a private school and the UC schools are public. Public schools are supported by tax dollars and those schools often feel a duty to admit students from California. Even so, a handful of international students get in, but they need good scores, so a 2200 SAT would help. Paying full OOS tuition also helps since the UC schools are experiencing a budget crisis.</p>
<p>As a private school, USC may be your best hope. They have a great alumni network. Connections mean more to USC than your other schools. If you or your family could find a USC alum to help pave the way for you and write a recommendation letter, that would help. I think it would help if you visited the school as well. </p>
<p>If your family is very wealthly, a large donation would make life very easy for you at any of the schools. Good luck.</p>
<p>by full OOS tution fee you mean to say the OOS annual tution fee right or the complete tution fee for 3 years? how can you donate some money to uc??</p>
<p>OOS means “out of state” tuition. State pubic schools charge less for residents of its state than for those who live outside of its state. </p>
<p>California spends more than it collects in tax revenues, so it has been cutting costs, including reducing the money it gives to the UC schools. An OOS student would pay around $30,000 in tuition whereas a student from California would pay around $10,000 per year. Although the UC system admits mostly California students, the rumor this year was that they were also accepting more OOS students who could pay the full tuition of $30,000 a year. I am not sure this is true but it make sense to me. </p>
