UCLA chances?

2040 SAT (aiming for 2120 next time, 2040 was just my 1st time), 4.14 weighted (Not UC GPA, 9-11 grade. Going to calculate my UC GPA and post it), 3.8X unweighted, 4 Ecs like NHS etc.. Out of State, thanks!

The most important question: Are you and your parents able to afford the OOS tuition for UCLA, since OOS students receive little financial aid. You are looking at $53-55K/year. SAT will need to be 2100+ and I hope your EC’s are more interesting than NHS. Any volunteer activities related to your major area of study??? Musical talents or awards??

From your academic record you definitely have a shot. I’m going to be honest and say that you’re weighted is a little on the lower end (would consider more honors and APs to bump it up) but your unweighted is up there.
You have a chance, but definitely not a shoe-in. And out of state is even harder. I’d say if you set a goal to get your SAT above a 2200 it definitely give it a little boost. Best of Luck
