I went and visited UCLA this past year and loved it. But, it seems as if I probably won't get in, so I came here to get a second opinion.

I'm a senior this year taking 6 classes:
AP English Literature, AP Statistics, AP Spanish, Leadership, Economics, Digital Photography

GPA:
4.08 (weighted)
3.88 (unweighted)

Past AP classes (AP exam scores):
AP English Language (4), AP Calculus (4), AP Biology (3)

SAT I:
1890 (definitely retaking)

SAT II:
Math 2 700
Biology M 650
(probably going to take again)

I've been a member of CSF every semester except the first semester of my freshman year.
I played JV soccer for 2 years and varsity soccer last year (I've been going back and forth between playing or not this year. Does it look good to colleges to play a sport for all 4 years or does it matter at all?).
I play soccer on a club team and am a captain.
I'm the senior class secretary.
I'm a member of the Pink Ribbon Club.
I was a cabin leader at Outdoor Ed last year and plan to do it again this year.
I started volunteering at a senior home this past summer and am continuing to do so.

You definitely need to do much better on the SAT because right now your chances are slim. If you can get a 2000 you would have an ok chance and if you can get a 2100 you would have a good chance. Your EC’s are sort of ‘run of the mill’, from what I can tell (who knows, maybe I’m wrong). Your GPA is pretty good, but you did not go into much detail about the rigor of your courseload besides for senior year. How many AP’s/honors courses will you have completed by the end of hs? That makes a big difference I think. Anyways, right now I would say that it looks bleak, but if you can get those SAT’s up you would have a very good shot, depending on how much you challenged yourself.

Ya, I know I definitely need to bring up my SAT score. I plan to take the next SAT (in October) and will prepare more for it this time around.
By the end of high school I will have taken 6 AP’s.
Other courses that may be noteworthy:
Freshman year - AS English I, Adv Biology
Sophomore year - AS English II, Algebra II/Trigonometry
