I am a highschool junior in south Florida and recently all of the seniors got the news from UF saying if they were accepted or not. ALMOST NO ONE WAS ACCEPTED! Top students in our school, well rounded and everything, were denied! However, the kids that seemed to take many dual-enrollment classes seeemed to be accepted more than the kids that did mosstly AP's.

Anyways, here's what my "resume" would say so tell me if i even have a remote chance, thanks =]

What is your GPA? Your college GPA for dual enrollment will matter, too. I had a 3.65 UW high school GPA, but a 3.95 college GPA and was accepted.

Since you’re a dual enrollment student, you need to make sure to complete the transfer requirements for your intended major, in case they decide to treat you as a transfer student (they do this for some, not all, DE students).

Yes, if you have a good GPA and can get your SAT up a bit more, you’ll have a good chance.

my unweighted gpa is 3.8 and gpa for college is a 4.0 as of now. I’m not planning on getting my AA so they shouldn’t treat me as a transfer student but now that u bring that up, they just might. I’ll talk to my guidance counselor on monday

-thanks =]

this year was a really funky year for UF, i didn’t get in, but people with your stats(which are lower than mine) got into UF at my school, so really i feel that its a crap shoot. it looks like you have the ECs of people i know that got in, so try to bring up your SAT and it seems like your GPA is good enough for UF. but like i said, it seems really random this year because excellent students from my school this year got rejected and students with worse grades and scores got in.

yeah i know exactly what ur saying, i guess its not just at my school =/ thats why im freaking out, the people that should get in didnt and the people that shouldn’t get in did. sorry about not getting into uf =/

thanks for the advice i feel a lot better and much more motivated =] im still freaking out internally though lol
