If you know somebody with a 6.8 GPA, they’re lying.

If you know somebody with a 6.8 GPA, they’re lying.

i’d be very surprised if UF doesn’t accept you.

That’s how our county weighs grades. I’m not lying. 6.8 is possible with APs and then taking college courses. In most other counties I guess it would be a 5. something or 4. something. I dunno. Its just straight As with almost every AP course taken and courses also taken at community college. Whatever that would be in your county.

same way in my county. each honors class gives you an extra .05 gpa and each ap is extra .08

That doesn’t mean shoe-ins don’t exist for UF. If you are a NMF I would wager it is impossible to get rejected if you don’t write “I am an NMF let me in” as your essay.

well, I had a 6.4 when I graduated…does that count?

^ur school’s GPA is calculated diff at UF

I’m saying their UF GPA would not be a 6.8. So they did not “get in” with that score.

An extra 1.0 for AP/IB/DE
and an extra 0.5 for Honors/Pre IB

^ I already made clear that their UF GPA is not 6.8. And yes, they DID “get in” with a 6.8… in our county.
