I was already accepted into GCSU, but UGA is my dream school. Please let me know my chances of getting in. Thanks so much!

Also, I go to a very competitive high school, one of the top ones in Georgia.

OOPS! One more thing! I have also held two jobs during my junior and senior year. I worked 12-15 hours a week for these jobs.

I think UGA is a reach for you.
Your GPA is pretty low for UGA which had a freshman average GPA of 3.83 last year, and it will only be higher this year.
Your scores are also below the UGA average. The average ACT score was a 28 composite and the average SAT was about 1900 (1240 M+CR). Also, UGA mainly focuses on the math and English/critical reading parts of the SAT/ACT so your math scores will hurt you.
How many AP classes did your school offer? 3 AP classes are also low in comparison to the incoming class last year having an average of 8. If you took 3/3 APs offered, that would look better than taking 3/20. Also, your APs are what could be considered ‘light’. Like, AP Psych is an easier AP class than AP Calculus so the rigor isn’t the same.

Hopefully your essays and ECs can make a difference (and your ECs are GREAT), but unfortunately I think you should plan on attending GCSU or another school and maybe transferring. The Grady College of Journalism is actually one of the most competitive majors there too, so see if you can change to undeclared or something. You can change your major at freshman orientation so what you apply under isn’t permanent.

Well, your academic profile isn’t very encouraging for UGA. It’s not competitive.

However, I do think you still have a good chance considering your ridiculous number of ECs. I’ll take your word for it that your essays are superbly written.

Admissions are really a mixed bag. Some above average kids get dropped, and some don’t. Some below average kids also get in, and others are dropped.

No way to tell, really. But given your ECs, I do think they’ll forgive you on your lacking academics a bit.
