Nervous about UGA

At the beginning of the year I was 70-80% sure i was going to get into UGA but now i’m not so sure. I go to a really competitive high school and my school is apparently 2nd (or third not sure) in most UGA acceptances and students/alumni. I decided to apply regular decision in order to focus more on my essays and my standardized testing. I had it all figured out but now I’m not so sure about UGA.

Here are my stats:
GPA: 3.86 W (not sure what UW would be)
Rank: 251/709
SAT: 1230 (i’m really bad at standardized testing and this is the one factor I’m scared UGA won’t accept me for)
ACT: (i’m planning on taking it in december)
AP: World History (3), Chemistry, Spanish Language (3), Macroeconomics, Calculus AB, Biology, Spanish Literature, and English Literature. (last 5 i am taking this year)
IB: school doesn’t offer
Senior year courseload: 5 aps and one regular class with my internship period at the end of the day.
I took a math class over the whole summer before Junior year in order to get ahead. (It took up most of my summer)

EC:
National Honors Society
HOSA - member for four years (competed in state conferences and also pertains to what I want to major in and particular field I want to be in)
National Spanish Honors Society
National Technical Honors Society
Science National Honors Society
(through these organizations I have done volunteer work since junior year)
Youth leader and member at church (go every week)
Interned over the summer from 10-4 every weekday for 8 weeks
I have younger siblings and my parents work from 8-5. My parents depend on me a lot to take care of them especially during school breaks. (I know colleges take that into consideration)

OTHER:
State: Georgia
School Type: public
Ethnicity: Asian
Gender: Female

And I think that’s it. I’ll add more info if I forgot anything. It’s nearing the deadline for regular decision now and I know UGA has been getting selective every year so I am extremely nervous.

@escapethesun - your GPA looks good, but, you need to convert it to the UGA GPA. The high school GPAs are typically too inflated as they have non-core classes and have bonus points for Honors classes (UGA does not give you bonus points for Honors classes). Here is a link to calculate your UGA GPA.

Also, your SAT score is too low. Need to get that up a bit. If you take the ACT, remember that UGA only looks at the Math and English section.

I converted my high school GPA to UGA’s. It’s 3.85 so there’s not much of a difference there. And yes, my SAT score is what I’m mostly worried about for UGA. That’s good that UGA only looks at math and english for act.
