I’m a pretty average Asian American student going into my senior year at my highschool. My school is fairly small with a whopping 530 students! In my class alone there are about 160 students and I’m ranked #52 with a GPA of 3.59. Which is not amazing, but a girl can dream of actually getting accepted.
I took the ACT and made a 23.
I took all college preparatory classes and made A’s along with a couple B’s in math.
I also took 2 years of Mandarin Chinese and 4 years of vocal music(chorus)
I got accepted into our CNA program and am working towards getting my CNA license in senior year.
I am the president of HOSA at my school and am a member of National Honors Society
I’ve also been working a part time job as a waitress at a long term care facility since the beginning of junior year.
I’m a pretty average student. Odds are I’m probably not getting in, but I’d still enjoy hearing other opinions. I know my best option will probably be transferring in. Although my dream is to get accepted in one shot. How are my chances?
Are you a NC resident?
Your ACT is a little low. It depends on if you’re out of state or not. Definitely a reach, but who knows? Work on your essays and I wish you luck!
