Chances of getting single room at UCLA

Hey Y'all.

I know housing at UCLA is limited in options, especially for transfers as I read most are in triples. What do you think the chances are for a transfer getting a single room on campus? To keep it simple, let's just say I have certain psychological issues/restrictions, and I plan on submitting my paperwork through the disability office soon. Yet i'm concerned that my request will be denied (perhaps they won't see my problem as serious enough to get accommodations), and by the time I learn that I would have to be in a triple or even a double, it would be too late to submit my SIR to another school. As you can see, this could be an issue. I would greatly appreciate anyone's feedback or experiences with this stuff. Congrats to those who were accepted!!

If your issue sounds compelling and you have evidence to prove that you have it, they’ll probably give you a single.

But I wouldn’t know from personal experience, so I don’t really know if I’m right.

There are only 400 singlet unites on UCLA. If you need one, go/call to the disability office now, before your SIR.
