Chances of getting to college/university without 2-3years of language?

Background: Looking to apply for Spring 2011 enrollment. Am currently a senior in high school.

I do not have three years of a foreign language. I have Spanish 1 completed but not the others. This is due to me having developed chronic migraines in my sophomore year, and causing me to be homebound taught(teachers come to the house to teach, only core-class teachers come) until the last semester of junior year. This left me with no Spanish 2 or 3 complete. I cannot take it this year as my schedule is full of electives(arts, physical education, other extracurricular classes, etc) that I need to graduate with.

My current GPA so far is a 3.107. It will hopefully increase as I have been doing well thus far in my senior year(1st quarter GPA was 3.96, and I am hoping to maintain this throughout the year).

My first SAT is scheduled for January 23, and will take two more after that.

I am looking to apply to in-state colleges such as Radford, VCU, Shenandoah and some more that I researching(most have requirements that aren't too strenuous, but do require either 2 or 3 years of a language).

What are my chances of getting in with just one year of a foreign language? Should I take Spanish 2(and possibly 3) at a community college before I apply next year?

Don’t worry about languages, focus on your scores, these colleges aren’t amazing, just work hard.
