There are my boring credentials. Can your ECs really outweigh your terrible test scores/GPA? I want to attend ivy league, but I'm worried that before they even begin to look at my ECs/Essay they'll deny me because I'm too far away from their average.

Will get a 4.0 Senior year make a different in my application?

thanks

colleges:
University of Washington
UC Berkely
Colombia
Harvard
Western
Northwestern

Your SAT is around 600 points lower then the minimum for Ivies (~300 points lower if URM), GPA is a bit low (unless you go to a badly grade deflated school, what’s your class rank?) and your extracurriculars are very weak for their applicant pool. Even with a 4.0 senior year, your chances of admission are very low at any of the ivies plus berkeley and northwestern, the two you indicated. I’m not familiar with “western” however, so I can’t chance you there. Sorry.

GPA is low and SAT is extremely low. You’ll need to get that 1600 to a 2200+ for the Ivies along with those ECs and GPA. Study hard for the SAT!

Columbia/Harvard will be nigh impossible. UCB and Northwestern will be difficult to say the least. Your ECs are fine just not phenomenal, thus they can’t outweigh the scores. Your SAT score would have to go up by 600 points I’d say for a shot at those schools. Also, unlike many candidates, you seem to have a downward trend which is hardly looked favorably upon. By “Western” I assume you mean Case Western? Either way there and UWash will be the most reasonable off of that list. Unless you’re positive you can get that SAT score up high, I would advise you to reconsider your college list. Most of them are reaches if not far reaches. You need safeties and matches.
