chances of going to mcgill??

ok guys im an advanced level student studying outside of north america
I got 3A and 5Bs in my o levels
with the As being in maths, english, and physics

im currently half way through my first year in A levels
I have not yet given sat as I dont know if they are required for canadian universities

by the time I apply for university I will have done some considerable community work

my A level subjects are Maths, Economics, and Sociology
what exactly should I get in my A levels and sat if required for a realistic chance of getting into mcgill

btw I have canadian citezenship but I dont live in canada will I still have to pay what international students are required to pay

Results on O-levels don’t matter as far as McGill is concerned; you can’t get into the majors that require specific subjects as O-levels by the looks of your A-level choices

SAT doesn’t matter if you go on to A-levels

I’ll list what you need to get by major or faculty (and that can be gotten into with Maths, Economics and Sociology being the subjects studied as A-levels):

Arts: AAB
K-11 education (regular or special): BBC
Physical education: BBB
Desautels: AAB (an A in A-level math is required)

Get AAB (or AAA) and all of the majors above can be safeties.

i will be going for Desautels
how much does extra cirricular matter in getting admission btw thanks for your reply

ECs don’t matter at McGill unless you bring them up in a letter written in an attempt to get off the waitlist.

thankyou so much for all your help if u dont mind me asking
how much do transcripts cone into play if the final grades themself are good
