I've read from multiple sources that withdrawing from classes can look bad when you send your transcript to potential grad schools.
My Dad died unexpectedly in my third semester of college. I decided to withdraw from all of my classes because I couldn't handle to finish the semester from the emotional stress I was under. I ended up relocating and transferring schools. On my transcript for that school, it says "W/P" for the grade.
What do you think my chances are of getting into grad school with that many withdrawals? Do grad schools make exceptions for this?
