i got waitlisted at Uci with a 4.12 and 1600 sat for comp sci. What are my chances of getting accepted? Uci is my dream school and i’ve been praying everyday that i’d get in. I checked college board and i found out that they accepted 1100, of the 1500 that agreed to be on the waitlist. is this true? and are my chances good?

Waitlist numbers from last year. Probably better odds this year once the UC budget is approved.
I’m in the same boat as you!!! I got rejected from UCSD and UCD, accepted at Cal Poly Pomona, and I’d love to go to UCI… I’m curious to know how they go about the waitlist admits though… Does anyone know?
what do the 967 appeals and admits mean? did only 68 people make it out of the waitlist?
nevermind, thanks alot i understand now. Uci really does have the highest wait-list admittance ratio. I really do hope i have a good shot
is the nursing program part of the wait-list? It says they have no wait list but I’m waitlisted for nursing. I’m so confused???
@pinkc1 maybe you got waitlisted for your alternate major?
Check out the stats from 2013. Totally different from 2014.

exactly what i mean, i’m not really sure what to expect. I want to believe there is a good chance but the chances of 2013’s results happening again is likely. I just want to go to UCI man i am in love with the school and can’t imagine any place else that i’d like to spend my next 4 years at.
So I was just wondering that if we are on the wait list, is it a good idea to send them an appeal as well as opting in?? Or just opt in for wait list?
