I have refused to reply to queries about chances of admission, but I’ll make an exception in your case.
Yes, you seem to be a very strong candidate, all around – especially as you completed a Carleton summer program and are familiar with the institution. If you did apply ED 1, it’s too late to change your admissions essay topic – but if I were in admissions, I’d love to read about your skirt-length disciplinary infraction and about any other minor missteps that reflect how you became who you are today! (I’m a C. alum and parent)
You should be very, very competitive, though this thread might get moved to the “What Are My Chances?” area.
Oh okay!

@stressedSen20r I’m confused. Are you applying ED1 or ED2? The ED1 deadline for this year has already passed. ED2 is coming up in a little more than a month.
If you’re applying ED2, all I can say is that Carleton has become a reach for everybody. Long gone are the days when someone like me could get in (sub-3.0 UW GPA, ~1400 SAT, 32 ACT). Really, I have no idea how I got in to Carleton, with all those Cs and Ds on my transcript. Must have been the essay and the recs. Anyway, with your credentials, I think you have a better than average chance. Also, TN might give a small geo diversity boost. In my day (back in the Jurassic Era), almost no Carleton students came from the South.
If you already applied ED1, you’ll find out in a matter of days now, so is there a reason why you’re asking? If you’re worried about whether the infraction will negatively impact your chances … well, keep in mind that this is a school where students sometimes don’t even wear clothes!
If you do get rejected, I can guarantee you it was NOT because your skirt was 3 inches above the knee (or whatever the stupid rule at your high school was).
