Chances of Me Getting Into These Schools

So right no I am applying to many New England Boarding Schools and was wondering what my chances of getting into Groton, Hotchkiss, Middlesex, Andover and Deerfield were.

My ISEE scores aren't amazing 9 8 7 6, (Haven't gotten my scores for the SSAT)
(I'm a lot better at verbal and reading than math)

But I will get a good recommendation from all my teachers.

I had REALLY good interviews at all of these schools.

My EC's are:

Section Leader in Chorus
Lead Singer In Band
Debating Team
Film Classes
Archery
Set Tech
Fishing
Volunteer Work (Senior Home and Food Pantry)

Schools your applying to are tough schools. Your ec seem god. your grades and essays will be a big factor in the schools decision. It would be best if you got above an 80% overall for these schools, but many applicants get in with lower scores.

Thanks. Just finished all my interviews and waiting for March 9th

what was your ssat score?

Wasn’t too good, my reading and verbal were in the 90’s but math was relatively low.

if your overall is above an 80 id say you still have a good shot at all schools. If you have a good math grade in school that could help

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I have a realistic chance at a school, not HADES, but pretty close (don’t want to say exactly) I got a 65 overall on SSAT, 48 in verbal (ouch).
My interview went great, I explained to him math was my best subject and my math score on SSAT was by far best so I think that will help compensate for my low score.
My hook is I play soccer on state and regional level, and a good friend of mine is already at the school and her family is big there.
My teachers last year named me best overall student
I have 4.0 (no rank, highest you can get in my school, no weighted/ unweighted)
I am also an officer in student council the only 8th grader with all other 9th grade officers.
My SSAT writing was probably above average, not outstanding though.
I’m really nervous, and I can’t make it to March 10th, any response would ease my mind with what to expect
I would be a day student, Thanks

Can someone please answer… BUMP

Bxy25,

I can understand how much you are nervous. Your profile looks good except SSAT score. But that could be compensated by the interview and grade as well as your hook.

Relax and wait for M10. If you are rejected it is not the end of the world

I wish you all the best.

thanks so much patronyork, it is a great relief that someone can confirm I have the slightest chance… I am still beyond nervous, but I want to thank you for replying and I wish you all the best in whatever you hope to happen March 10th and beyond (:

The time for answers is only a month away…

Not sure whether to be happy or nervous
