Chances of Syracuse, Upitt, University of Rochester, and Muhlenberg

<p>I am going into my senior year and will be taking these classes...planning a major in neuroscience or something in that area (most likely)coming from a public school.</p>

All together: 1900...plan to take again and will be taking the ACT..but most of these schools Avg SATs on naviance are about mid or high 1800s excluding Rochester </p>

<p>GPA: 102.21...mid and high 90 grades unweighted in every subject..ranked 14 out of approx. 300...may change slightly in either direction.</p>

<p>I got 4s on both my AP US test and my AP Language and Composition Test</p>

<p>Three people from my school attended rochester..2 with lower SAT scores and lower GPAs, ...The other schools..many have attended with lower or equal grades/scores to me...few with higher</p>

<p>Extra Curricular Activities</p>

<p>I Co-created my school medical club during my freshman and sophomore year with a friend. As a junior I served as VP and Will be Co-President my senior year</p>

<p>I am the Manager of A Drug prevention club in my school (since my sophomore year)..so once a month during the school year i meet with important community figures (chief of police, superintendent of schools, etc) to discuss what the club does to improve the community</p>

<p>Inducted into NHS and chosen to serve as Historian</p>

<p>Volunteer Work</p>

<p>Volunteer for a business where I make brochures and help design the website...the person is a solo proprietor so she really needs me but i do it on a volunteer basis...still doing this</p>

<p>Sophomore year: over 50hrs of service at the local hospital in the histology lab</p>

<p>Relay for Life Fundraiser..will be doing again</p>

<p>Counselor in Training going into my freshman year of high school - over 60 hrs </p>

<p>Work</p>

<p>5 consecutive years as a summer camp counselor</p>

<p>Worked as an Art instructor for young kids...business closed</p>

<p>Syracuse: It’s either a match or a low reach, depending on your essay and interview.</p>

<p>UPitt: You should be able to get in, especially if you raise your SAT scores.</p>

<p>Rochester: Reach. You should definitely attempt to raise your SAT scores, or aim for a 30+ on the ACT, preferably 32+. Great recommendation letters from teachers would help a lot.</p>

<p>Muhlenberg: I’m…not quite sure which college this is, so I have nothing to say for this one.</p>
