Hey everyone, I am a current freshman at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania majoring in Corporate Finance and Music Performance. I have decided that St. Vincent isn’t the place for me. Just personal reasons. I was wondering how good my chances are for transferring to the University of Pittsburgh Main. Pitt has always been my dream school.
High School information:
ACT: 26 cumulative
Class of 2018 Class Rank: 16/343
Unweighted cumulative GPA: 3.88
Spectacular extracurriculars, honors and AP coursework, leadership roles, community service, etc.
SVC:
I have completed 18 credits of coursework so far and am enrolled in 19 credits this semester. Strong performance in Freshman English, Calculus as well as good (B-) performance in Financial Accounting. My GPA for last semester was a 3.43 (wasn’t happy with this, but getting a C+ in microeconomics class screwed me over lol). Once again, spectacular extracurriculars, was named an Honors College Scholar, named a Benedictine Leadership Scholar, etc.
Do I have a better chance as a business school applicant or an arts and sciences school applicant? I want both majors regardless.
Any information anyone has would be greatly appreciated!!! HAIL TO PITT!
