I'm transferring from UCLA to University of Miami with a GPA of 2.32 as a pre-political science major. I went directly from UCLA from High School and was wondering what is the minimum number of credits needed to transfer to University of Miami or any other top university.

I only have 52 credits. A little over a year, do I need to have more credits in order to transfer schools or do I have to have high school transcripts as well?

In order to transfer to any school, do I need more credits than 52? I know that is pretty low, so can I transfer to the school if they look at my high school transcript as well?

What are my chances at other top universities nationwide? The fact that I am transferring from UCLA make a difference?

I was wondering if my GPA is too low, or if I need more credits? My high school GPA is excellent, do I need more college credits and do I need to send my high school transcript to the University of Miami or another university?

My high school GPA is over 4.0 and SAT scores are very high.

Had you applied after your freshman year, I would have said that you had a considerable chance at attaining admissions. Your GPA now weighs more which can (and mostly likely will) cause a rejection from UM unless you have stellar ECs.
