Hey everyone,

I'm a film student and after high school i applied to both the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee and Columbia College Chicago. I was accepted to both of them, and chose Columbia, but my parents said Columbia would be too pricey for all four years and that i should attend Milwaukee for 2 years before we could talk about transferring. Here we are, almost two years later, and i've decided that i still want to go to Columbia. I've got the financial end of things worked out, but i'm concerned about the transfer process. Basically, i have a score of 27 on my ACT, and a 2.5 College GPA. (During my first semester i had a hard time adjusting an ended up failing two courses due to forgetting things like unannounced online quizzes, missing projects, etc.) I've since retaken one of the courses (a film course) and walked out with a B. I'm worried that, although my College GPA is much higher than my High School GPA, that it will be looked upon more harshly because they are my college grades. I've also done alot more extra-cirricular and leadership activities since High School, but i'm worried that my chances of getting in are lower this time around. What do you guys think? Should i be worried or are my chances about as good as before? all help is appreciated.
