Chances of Transferring to an Ivy League

Hello, I first want to start off by saying I really have no expectations of being able to transfer into an Ivy League school. I just want to know what some of you with knowledge about transferring think of my chances. Be as honest as you like, if you think I can't get in, please just let me know what you think a good reach would be.

I did average in High School, GPA of 3.1 in your normal classes (Math up to Pre-Calc, Chemistry, Physics, Forensics, Bio)

SAT: Math: 740 CR: 570 Writing: 520
TOTAL: 1310/1830

SAT2 - Math 1 - 760

Now, my college grades are the reason I believe that I might have a shot at transferring, my total GPA is a 3.97 in what can be considered difficult classes (I'm an Engineer major). Although the school is not that great (Florida Atlantic University.) I have a Math and Science GPA of 4.0.

Here are the classes I've taken and grades received.

Semester 1:
Engineering Chemistry - A
Calculus for Engineers 1 - A
College Writing I - B+
Fundamentals of Engineering - A (Semester 1 GPA - 3.9) - 14 Credits

Semester 2:
Environment and Society - A
Culture and Society - A
Calculus for Engineers 2 - A
College Writing II - A
General Psychology - A (Semester 2 GPA - 4.0) - 16 Credits

Semester 3 (Summer) at Farmingdale State University in New York:
General Physics 1 - A
General Physics 2 - A

Semester 4:
Calculus and Analytical Geometry 3 - A
Engineering Mathematics I (Differential Equations) - A
Probability and Statistics for Engineers - A
Philosophy - A
Music Appreciation - A (Semester 4 GPA - 4.0) - 16 Credits

Once again, total college GPA of 3.97.

This semester I'm taking Introductory Complex Analysis and Engineering Mathematics II to get a Mathematics minor. I expect to get A's which will leave me with GPA of 4.0 for the mathematics minor. Please let me know.

By the way I really don't have many clubs or sports.

Thank you in advanced.

Anyone…?

I’m also trying to transfer into the schools of Engineering if that changes anything. (Really just used this post to bump it)

Can someone please give me a reply.

I’m sorry, I can’t offer any meaningful advise on transferring.

Perhaps if you repost this in the Transferring Students forum, you’ll find someone there who has a better read on this.

Good luck!!
