Hey guys,
So I'm currently a student at a CCC and am hoping to transfer to UCI for business econ, CSULB for business admin, or CSUN for marketing. Here's my dilemma:
I started at a CCC in 2009 and did terribly. I am eligible for academic renewal in one more semester, and plan to take advantage of that. After academic renewal I should have a 3.5 GPA in my two transferable classes I did well in (philosophy & health). I just recently started at a new CCC to get a fresh start and am worried about screwing up my chances yet again... It looks as if I am going to get a D in one of my history classes :( other than that, my GPA will for my other 4 classes will be between a 2.8-3.1 after finals. Luckily, my school offers a GPA adjustment if I go back and repeat the class I am probably going to get a D in. If I can manage to get a B in that class and get my GPA adjusted, do you think I still have a shot at any of those 3 schools? I want to work in marketing and would like to get into the best school possible, but my main concern is getting into ANY school. I still have at least 3 semesters to bump up my GPA, but I'm nervous I've screwed myself. What do you guys think? Any input would be greatly appreciated!
