Chances of transferring to UChicago Columbia Upenn

@safetosay Thank you man. actually for all these schools, chicago is my type. I really want to get into that one. but what a weird school it is… god knows what will happen. BTW, I read your post just now. and I think you have a good chance for the schools you are applying. But the potential handicap maybe you didn’t take math and econ, just to be honest. hope to see you in chicago next sem. Best luck

There are a lot of racists in this thread.

so true. and that’s america

freaking out…

Two of my best friends transferred to UChicago last year and their stats were far below yours. However, from their experience, I can tell you that what got them in was their passion for their field of study and devotion to a particular activity. I think you have a great shot at these schools, that is, better than the average applicant. Make sure you send in any research material you have completed, because one of my friends was pretty sure that’s what got her in since she only had a 3.5 GPA. good luck!

^ thank you very much! Does that mean I just send my research abstract to the admission office directly?

I think you’ll get into uchicago for econ =). Great stats and ur GPA is looking good after 3 semesters. Is UVA on a 4.3 scale?

You have REALLY, really good chances. WOW your stats are so amazing!

UVA is on a 4.0 scale. They do give A+ but it is regarded as 4.0… which is very sad…

Thank you so much! Right now I am just going to wait for my destiny : )

Chicago RD came out just now. already feeling the tension : )

Relax man. I bet you will get in. I will drive my car and park it in front of UC admission office and burn it if you don’t get in :)) semi-kidding.

You will be fine yiisheng. I don’t see why you wouldn’t be accepted to UChicago. On a side note, is that your #1 choice?

@mixter lol If they don’t like me, they will have a reason to reject me, like my SAT… really thank you so much for your support tho!

@ChicagoBear1 UChi is the #1 for me without a doubt. but if MIT accept me (which is highly unlikely), I may be forced to go there by my parents :P
