I'm a WA resident currently looking to transfer to UW from an out-of-state college for financial reasons. I have a 3.53 cumulative GPA and plan on majoring in chemical engineering (my backup is physics), but I cannot actually apply to the department until the spring. So, if I start school in that quarter, it will take me 3 years to finish.

I also have 90+ credits completed because I was bouncing around with different majors early on until I started to mature and become more focused with what I wanted to do. I mentioned volunteering at hospitals and shadowing doctors in my personal statement and what I learned from doing that.

I have gotten either an A or A- in all of my math classes, B in my first semester of general physics, B in my first semester of general chemistry and an A in the second semester.

What are my chances? Unfortunately, it doesn't look like an admissions decision will be made until June or July and it's tough to figure out what to do with regards to things like housing.
