I haven't taken any SAT or SAT subject tests yet. I am planning to this fall and winter. I took the PSAT but didnt do really well. I got like 1500. (didn't study, etc) . I will be taking an SAT class this summer (starts in two weeks with KAPLAN).

For the next two years, I will be taking college classes at the community college. here is my schedule:

By the way, college classes are one semester but count as one year at the high school level.

junior fall 2011:
- Chinese 11A (third yr, according to my professor it's equal to AP)
- Human Sexuality
- Econ 1
- Chem 50 (into to chem)
- 4 elective classes at school : seminars, leadership, TA, media studies, photography, etc.

junior spring 2012:
- Precal (taking it again for review)
- English 1A
- Chem 1A (hardest community college chem, so i think its equal to AP chem)
- maybe Physics (if it fits into schedule)
- 4 elective classes at school : seminars, leadership, TA, media studies, photography, etc.

junior summer 2012:
- English 5
- maybe a bio class, if i have time

senior fall 2013:
- Calculus
- Communication 1
* will be finished with all high school classes
- Business 1A
- 4 elective classes at school : seminars, leadership, TA, media studies, photography, etc.

senior spring 2013:
- Business 1B
- Business 2
- Econ 2
- 4 elective classes at school : seminars, leadership, TA, media studies, photography, etc.

**** if everything goes as planned meaning i get into all the classes listed and i get above C's in all my classes junior/senior yr, then I will be able to get two AA degrees. (2 yrs)
- one in Business Administration
- one in Liberal Arts

for my junior and senior year, i am not sure about extra circulars yet.
most likely the same:
- volunteer every Saturday at church tutoring
- maybe go back to Ruby Bridges to volunteer
- will start volunteering at the college child care center
- summer: volunteering at salvation army
- maybe dragon boating again

The only colleges I really want to go to is either UC Berkeley or UCLA. I guess any other UC would work, but those are what I really want to go to. What are my chances? What do I need to improve on, etc.

any comment would be fine.

bump please. anyone?

If you’re getting college credits and already have an AA, I think you’d count as a transfer student. And if you’re a transfer student…I guess SATs aren’t important. You’d only have to worry about your GPA and your personal statement.

Of course, I could be wrong, as I tend to be at times.

i would not be a transfer student because of my age. i have to apply as freshman

your stats are amazing- ucla/ucb for sure.

I think you have a decent chance. But, I’m not too familiar with transfer applications and how competitive they are (if you have to do it that way). So, I can’t say anything for sure. Great ECs! Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1173642-new-member-chance-me-please.html

anyone else have feedback?

what can i do to improve my chances ?
