<p>I vaguely remember something about it (do you have any relatives that went to FSU or something) on the application from when I applied three years ago. </p>
<p>It really doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things. You might get a brownie point or two with the admissions people, but it’s not going to be make or break.</p>

<p>Admissions scores the freshman applications and it is my long understanding legacy applicants (like my kids were) get a point for being the child of an alumnus/alumnae.</p>
<p>It’s a longshot that being an FSU legacy would be the deciding factor to tip you over to accepted side of fence; an applicant to FSU can get a point or two for being a first-generation college student too. If everything else was the same for two applicants, an FSU legacy would probably get in though before a child of an alumus from another college like UF.</p>
