I have been dreaming about NYU since I was little and has always been my dream school. However, I would like some help from someone telling me and guiding me successfully into NYU Nursing.

Freshman Year: Had a GPA of 3.66 which was absolutely horrible and this is the main reason why I am scared of getting rejected. I had too many B's resulting in this GPA. However I made sure I was heavily involved in Orchestra Council and Ecology Club to show my interest in school

Sophomore Year: I transferred schools so my uw GPA with my freshman year grades resulted in a 3.8. I will be getting a 3.9 both semesters this year so my GPA should be high now after this school year is done. I was so paranoid as to make sure I got in to NYU that I made sure I was SUPER involved this year. As a result, I became Vice President of GSA and French club officer which I was the only sophomore to be able to do that. I'm also part of key club, interact club, French Honors Society, and Student Council. I have done 200 hours of community service which I volunteer at nursing homes, food shelters and homeless shelters, and I plan on getting on 300-400 hours before college admissions.

Next year for Junior year I plan on getting all A's and I took the plan and said I would get a 30 on my ACT and I am not settling anything for less. I currently take Honors Bio, Honors English, and French 3 Honors. Junior year I am taking AP Bio, AP human, AP Psychology and honors physics.

OUTSIDE EC: I plan on using dance as my main focus on getting in to the university. I have been dancing competitively since 7 and have received full scholarships to top ballet and contemporary companies in the nation to train in summer intensives. I want to use dance to show how that helped me want to strive and help other people in my life and how it gave me the confidence to pursue anything I desire. I feel like using dance to intertwine my love for helping people and becoming a nurse would help me be set apart as unique which is what the university looks for. I am just worried that my low GPA Freshman year is what is going to hold me back into acceptance and I am really worried. Any more tips and advice to help me get into my dream school? What else do I need to do?
