So guys. I really messed up. Financially speaking my family is more than qualified for the program. We live below the poverty line. I’m not worried about financial aid becuase I’m sure I’ll get the max aid. What i’m worried about is my academics. Freshman year I was depressed becuase my father passed and i moved. My grade have made a major improvement (88/100gpa junior year) but it wasnt enough to get my gpa high. I have an 82/100…1500SAT…lot of EC’s. APs- english, world history. chances? Please help!
Sorry to say but with only a 1500 SAT composite score, I don’t think you can manage to get into NYU. But don’t be depressed , if you believe you have the ability to succeed then I recommend you still apply! Go for it and shoot for the sky!
NYU does look at applications holistically, so keep your head up. Good luck
