chances OOS? thanks

GPA: 3.9 UW, 4.2 W
SAT: 750W, 720M, 650CR [taking again for CR]
SATII: 800 mathII, 710 bio, 650 spanish..ehh
school doesn't rank, but prob top 10%? or 5%?
um i'll have 7 AP's and 7 honors by the time i graduate
AP CALC BC: 4
AP Bio:5
AP microecon: 5
AP spanish: 4
i do a ton of volunteer work: tutoring @ elementary school, habitat for humanity, hunger center, hospital
i've done gymnastics for 13 years at a private club and i organize annual fundraisers for it every year,
varsity letter for the past 3 yrs, and i'll be captain next yr
and i also teach children's gymnstics classes about 10
hrs a week
Ambassador's club
photography and layout editor on school newspaper
uh National Honor Society
2 engineering summer camps
co-founder/co-president of Spanish club </p>

<p>I'd say you have a great shot if you were in-state. As it is, probably a slight reach, as you need something that will help you stand out against all the other top OOS applicants. I just don't see much in those EC's that jump out at me.</p>

<p>Pretty good shot for an out of state applicant. At this point, the only things you can do to improve your chances are to write good essays and to apply early. I suppose you could also retake the SAT. I wouldn't be as confident as goodcolleges is.</p>
