<p>Well your a URM, so you've got that going for you anyways, but not much else to be honest. I think you'd have a difficult chance getting in as an in-stater, but being OOS will make it that much harder for you. Try to bring up your SAT to around 2200, take the most rigorous courseload possible senior year and ace those classes, and that may bring you up to a fringe chance.</p>

<p>Perhaps you should write about the sickness, and definitely have it explained in additional information. If it was life threatening, it'd even be a great essay. Yeah I know, sounds awful to capitalize on something like sickness.</p>
