Chances =/? GPA brings me way down..

Hey all,

I'm currently a senior at a specialty center in Virginia. I applied regular decision for U.Va and I'm on the fence about my chances because my GPA is so low. Any ideas on how you think my resume appears?

Applying to the School of Engineering.

My class and unranked and I honestly can't give an accurate guesstimate of my position.
GPA: 3.43 Unweighted 4.45 Weighted
SAT I: 770 Math, 690 Verbal, 560 Writing (taking again to boost Verbal & maybe writing)
SAT II: 710 Bio. Molecular, 780 MATH II, 740 MATH I
AP's: AP Biology (4), AP Comp. Sci A (5), AP Statistics (?), AP Calc. BC (?), AP Lit (?), AP Physics C. (?)

Courses: 3-4 dual enrollment courses. 2 taken over this past summer. Almost all of my courses have been honors or above.

EC's:
4 years of Indoor/Outdoor track, Varsity team captain this year for both.
2 years of Cross Country
JV Soccer as a freshman, admitted onto Varsity as a Sophomore but I was forced to quit due to injury.
NHS, Beta Club, MAO officer, Key Club, Robotics Club, German Club, French Club

I come from a school where the top 10% of my class has a >3.6 unweighted GPA. I have friends who are have been admitted to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, and Duke. Thus, I am wary of my standing and I feel I can't accurately compare myself. Anyone want to tell me their thoughts?

Open to criticism!
