Chances please, and opinions on a school...

he's not looking at Ivy League schools. Again, I will only say that Monmouth is the place where the rich kids in my school go when they can't get in anywhere else. You have probably have more than a shot there.

BRO ima give you the full truth(no offence), you really messed 1590 is not a descent score 2.5 is a gpa tht colleges look and laugh at just go to a community college and transfer if you want some sort of future in anything you slacked off now but you pay for it later, you can still save your self by transfering end of story. Only other way u can get in is if your a tremendous bball player and ur the next lebron james other than tht your hopes for going str8 out to a good school are pretty much gone...

Who are you to call someone stupid when you spell/type like that? Honestly, this post is borderline trolling. Now if anyone else has any real advice/chances, and not this garbage, please feel free to post.

I agree JJ. This thread is getting messed up. Nobody imo needs to remind u that u messed up in hs, im sure u know why u did it (u slacked). No problem, thats why ur asking for advice.
if u said u dont want a cc, thats fine, we should all accept it and offer advice. I personally would not wanna go to a JC or CC either. You could just as easily transfer to a top school (top 50) from Towson as u could from a CC.

Advice/comments:

as I said earlier, Towson and La Salle is looking strong. UT Knoxville is a big reach but still apply, u might get in.

St. Johns if u dont like NY well then thats ok, its not for everyone. However ST. Johns isnt in the heart of NY, its in Queens. Google Earth it to get an idea.

U have a great chance at St. Joseph. I know their website posts high stats and makes admissions look really selective but its not. I applied to many Tier 1 schools that had stats above myn and nobody rejected me.
Apply to St. Joseph cuz u have at least a 60% chance of getting in.

Finally I wanted tosuggest several schools:
These schools will most likely to u be match/low reach schools.

Indiana U: Gorgeeeous school. Look it, cuz its easily one of the prettiest school in America. Moreover its a tier 1 school with many top programs in business etc... Indiana has aways been a top school but has easy admissions standards. Seriously look it up if u dont ind going a lil far away.
50% chance of getting in.

Purdue: again, im sure uve heard of the name. its a great school, tier 1 school but with easy admission standards. Great programs in business, engineering, science.
60% chance of getting in.

Arizona and Arizona State: I personally hate them cause their in a desert. However they both seem to very popular schools with lots of school spirit.it might be for u. Moreover it is again a Tier 1 school with easy admissions.
CHances: 50-60% chance.

UMass Amherst: its a tier 1 school but not as good as Indiana and Purdue imo. still in a great college town, and a very nice big campus. u might like it.
50% chance.

All the schools I listed have the following:
- high level of school spirit combined with athletics.
- Good academics: ranked among the top 100 schools and some top 70.
- Nice campus: Although to me Arizona is my enemy cuz of its location, many seem to love it. all of the schools I listed have big campuses, nice buildings and some even rated as the prettiest campuses or college towns in america.

Anyways hope I helped. Seriously consider those even if it means going a lil far for college. If u want Tier 1 academics with the traditional college experience, these might provide that and u have a good chance.

Thanks a lot. I'm glad you listed schools with D-1 athletic teams as that was originally one of the factors I was going to look at to help make my decision. I was looking at IU, but I heard it was very difficult to get into so I figured I might as well not waste my time, but it now looks intriguing again. Thanks for putting the thread back on track also, haha.
