Chances for a procrastinator...

Basically, a lot of stuff has gone on in my life, be it deaths of close family members, depression, etc. All of this started to happen before my freshman year, and completely ruined my attitude and motivation. Because of all of this, my grades have suffered severely. I went from being counted on for at least a 90% GPA in middle school, to my current GPA of 72. I just haven't been able to come out of it until now, when I realized it might be too late to get into college, considering they don't really look at your senior year (I'll be in my senior year next school year). For some reason I feel like my college life is depending on my SAT scores, which should be coming in in the next 3 weeks. I've just been wondering if even the best of senior years academically speaking will be enough to get me into college, and was wondering if people could chance me. Here is my "resume" so far:

Near end of junior year
72 GPA
No AP/Honors courses

EC's- Basketball (9th, 11th, will play in 12th), Baseball (playing next year), FBLA (next year), representative for student council (10th, 11th)

Work- Just started working at Gamestop, previously did little stuff like babysitting, mowing lawns, shoveling snow, etc.

And here are the colleges I am considering:

Towson
Monmouth
Shippensburg
Millersville
Tennesee-Knoxville
Central Florida

Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

You should be fine for Towson, Monmouth, Ship and Millersvile. Let's just say some people who are 'much' less motivated than you from my school got into these schools. As long as you did decent on the SATs, you're fine. Are you in PA?

Yes, I am in PA. There is a state school (Bloomsburg) in my town, but my lack of desire to stay here has led me to decide that I'm not going to apply. Millersville and Ship is as close as I want to be. The Towson news is refreshing, as that is my #1 school and I was told that you have to be in the top 10 in your class to get accepted there. I had a feeling that was a lie.

hahahhaha my friend who got into Towson gets B's, C's and D's in standard classes and smokes a ton. Trust me, you're fine.

Nice to hear, thanks.

Anddd a bump.
