<p>Did you do all the optional essays? If they're well-written they could help you. I hope you emphasized your community service/active citizenship because Tufts looks for that. Either way, your stats are right on the mark for Tufts, but that also means it could still go either way... 50/50. Are you aware that Tufts has an ED II plan you could still apply for, if it's your first-choice?</p>
<p>Yeah, you shouldn't apply ED anywhere if it's not your first choice. But if you've already been deferred by Brown, the chances of being accepted are about 15%, I believe. So if Tufts is by far your second choice, you might want to think about ED II just a little more (you have ~two weeks), because it's not a sure thing for you either to be accepted at Tufts. Do you have any matches you'd be really happy at, just in case you don't get in to Brown RD and Tufts RD?</p>
