Music is the most meaningful activity in my life. This is
due to two things: First, I’ve always been involved in
music, one way or another. I’ve been in a choir, in an
orchestra, in a band, in a chamber group, my school life
turned around music. It’s an inseparable part of my life.
The huge amount of experiences that I’ve lived thanks
to music, travels, concerts, friends…makes me cherish it .
The second and main reason is simply that it fulfills me.
Going to a concert, listening to a CD or playing the oboe
give me a pleasure above any other activity. I see music
as the most subtle form of art, the connection that I feel
with it is irreplaceable.

I've spent i year living in france, i'm not sure if that's a
plus in the american admisison process, i'm an
international student, from venezuela -South america for
those who wonder- and i want to major in politics or
international studies. I'd like to work at the UN or in a
humanitarian organization like the red cross, human
rights watch or international amnisty. Journalism is also
an option. Venezuela doesn't have AP courses or
honors. Everybody has the same courseload
- By the way, if i get to be in the top 15 per cent of my
class in france, without speaking the language at the
beginning and without knowing the systems, and the
subjects would i have a boost in my application?
Other interests: Reading -specially russian writers-
philosophy, politics, history, biology, chemistry, tennis,
economics, debates.
