*** Chances *** Please

I recently applied to the LAS college.

Ethinicity-Afghani/Pakistani-American

SAT scores:
730 critical reading
620 math
640 writing
1990/2400
1350/1600

My gpa is approximatley a 3.1 Don't really have a class rank because I have attended multiple high schools :s

However--- I explained (under their extenuating circumstances thingy) that my GPA has been compromised because I've been to over three high schools and have been switching back and forth throughout my high school "career". Nonetheless, I completed my sophomore year and junior year at an International-American school in PAKISTAN. That was my first time living over there and so culture shock had a great affect on me(especially my sophomore year). Not only that, but I was living there alone while my parents were still in America. Still, my junior year was my best year (acquired a 3.7).

My extracurriculars:
Vice president of school
Model United Nations conference in Doha, Qatar- hosted by Georgetown University
Varsity Basketball- Traveled to Bangladesh
St. Joseph's Hospice volunteer
Earthquake Relief
Job- working at a clinic

My essays were great.

So... Chances? Anyone?

Without rank it's hard to tell. You have a good SAT score but a low GPA. You have great ECs as well so I say you should be in.

anyone else?
