Please let me know what you think--THANKS SO MUCH!!!

I'm only a high school senior, so I can't accurately say, but it seems to me like you have a pretty good shot. Your GPA and rank is great! Have you gotten all As all of high school? Wow! Your ACT is pretty good. Your ECs probably won't stand out (Do you think you'll play soccer/run track in college? That could be a hook.), but you do stay busy. Concentrate now on a good essay and "Why Wellesley" response.

Just so you know, Wellesley has no EA. They have binding ED, but the deadline for that already passed. They also have Early Evaluation, for which the deadline is Jan 1 (instead of the regular deadline of Jan 15). If you apply EE, you'll get a letter in February saying if it's "likely", "possible" or "unlikely" you'll be accepted.

oops, I meant EE. thanks for your input! are you applying there as well?

Yup, I've already applied ED. Now I'm just waiting. I love Wellesley, so I'm so nervous! I posted a "chance" thread too about a week ago.

EE is pretty cool. I haven't found any other school with it, but it makes so much sense. Good luck!

I think you have a very probably chance of getting in (especially with ED) with your gpa and rank, though your AP scores will only get you 1 credit (5 in AP Bio). Just a note in case you come here: there's a language requirement that you can bypass by taking a 300 lvl course, one year of 200, or 2 years of -100's followed by 200's- OR by getting above a 650 in an SATii language test.
I highly recommend the last solution...
I ended up taking a year of 100's, and now it's my second year of languages, I wish I knew about the lang. req. sooner (the classes are usually at 8:30am and meet more often than regular classes).

i'm thinking about taking the sat 2 french test now that you mention it--i don't know how well i would do though. I don't feel super prepared from my h.s. french classes, but i might get a study guide and try it. Thanks for the advice!

Oh my god you guys are ALL depressing me so much, do you realize that you great students and i feel like a little nub next to you? I'm making the countdown of the days i need to wait, its HAUNTING ME. Oh well, i'm going to London right after so it will change my mind.
