Thanks all for responses.

You hate math but you're presient of the computer club? wuhhh?

Either way, if you can get that math score around 700 you should be in at the UCs IMO, but I would say that Columbia is a reach or a high reach for you just because you go to a competitive high school there may be kids who are more likely to be selected by Columbia (you didn't mention your class rank). You still have a shot, but not as good of a shot as you have at the UCs. Good luck!

The club is more about the visuals that computers can create, centering about programs like Photoshop and Flash, while spending some time with Hardware, and a brief interlude with programming (not my specialty).

I've already taken the October SAT, and I hope I did pretty well, but I think my chances of getting a 700 math score are kinda low, because I know I skipped like 6, so, that greatly hurts my chances, especially since the UCs take only single sitting.

My school does not offer class ranks, because we are a very competitive school, and I'm applying early decision to Columbia, so that also changes things a bit.

Bump, anyone else?

Any other chances?

You've got to up the ante on the SAT score to be deemed qualified for Columbia.

Yeah, I retook in October, hoping for at least a 2100+

UCB - Low Match/High Reach. You're within their student body "average" but knowing UCB you will have to write a killer essay. Prepare yourself.
UCLA - Match
UCSD - Match
Columbia - Low Match/High Reach. Same as UCB.
