My Essay is about my parent's struggle in Iran and their immigration to this country and how their experiences and lessons have shaped my life.</p>

<p>pretty good chances at all except NYU as it is very competitive and the acceptance rate is low. your scores are great and so are your ECs. the rigor of curriculum (number of aps) might be lacking a bit. otherwise, everything looks good. </p>

<p>thats a good topic for your essay. cultural backgrounds as topic essays usually give colleges are more personal outlook into who are you as an individual.</p>

<p>Well, our school only offers 6 APs, so I'm not too worried; Barnard is diffucult to get into and that's my main worry.</p>
