<p>you have a definite shot of getting in. Your stats are better than what mine were last year, and I got in with a mid-level merit scholarship (although oxy will likely be more selective this year, where last year's admit rate was 39%).</p>

<p>My D got in with similar stats,+/- EC's, great recs,with a tiny merit award. She's URM.</p>

<p>I went to Costa Rica for two weeks last summer, too! :)
I got accepted ED to Oxy with a lower GPA and lower test scores.</p>
