Ok i would love to have your opinions on my chances to be accepted into GT

GPA: 3.8 UW, 4.1 W
ACT: 27 composite but taking again (shooting for 30)
School: private Catholic school in TN. named one of the top 50 Catholic schools in America
EC: all-region basketball player for two years, all-district baseball player, over 150 service hours, mission trip to Haiti, NHS, Mu Alpha Theta, etc..
Classes: 5 AP, many honors
top 15% of class but school doesn't rank

This is the general info, any help appreciated. Thanks

It'll be tough with that ACT score, but if you can get it to 30, you'll be in good shape.

You're fine statistically. Your ACT is well within the inter quartile range for Georgia Tech, your GPA is fine and your extracurriculars are decent. Provided you wrote at least an average essay, you will more than likely be admitted. I wouldn't worry if I were you.

Alright that helps a lot. It was my first time taking the ACT so i can almost guarantee that it improves. Thanks.

i got in with a sat 1880 and act 28… and gpa of 3.96 W ( : SAT’s dont mean much…if uve taken loads of science/math and challenging classing with atleast a low B, u can ttly get in…
i had only a couple if rele erm…“unique” currics…which im pretty sure stood out…
