You look OK, a bit tougher since you’re OOS. Is there any way you could retake the ACT and boost it just a point or two? I’d say if you hit the 30 mark on the ACT you would be in 90% sure.

Do you have an extra curriculars?

I have tons of extra curriculars (sports, job, lots of community service), and my father and his whole side of the family have gone to MSU. Do they take “legacies” into account or no?

They look at legacy status, but it doesn’t play a huge role. If it comes down to you and one other kid with identical stats, yeah the legacy status will get you in. Otherwise, not so much.

Yeah, I was just wondering. I doubt it will make much of a difference!

Anyone else, chance me please?

Your GPA and ACT are OK, but not great. Still, they’re ok for MSU and you say you have lots of ECs, so I think you’re in.

Yeah, my extra curriculars are very good. It’s surprising how a 29 isn’t a great ACT score- it’s 94th percentile! Weird how things work. Anyway, thank you for your opinion!
