I'm a senior and have a 4.0 UW/4.2 W right now.
school doesn't rank!</p>

<p>SAT I: 2150 (M-720, CR-700, W-730) *taking it again soon
AP Euro: 3
AP Eng Lang: 4
taking AP Macroecon this year.</p>

<p>I am also taking calculus, child development, and biology at a local community college.
I am remediating an english class and a history class online. </p>

<p>3 years Junior Varsity Cross Country and Track</p>

<p>4 years Autism Awareness Club:
-currently over 400 hours volunteering with autistic children, much more to come as it is what i want to pursue with my life. I hope to acquire a job for pay working with autistic children in the next few months.
-raised over $20,000 so far for Walk for Autism
-co-founder/president of club</p>

<p>I've been waitressing for the past 3 months and plan to continue it....a big step for me. </p>

<p>I plan to write my essay about my experience with the autistic children and how I draw inspiration from them and the lady who started a center for them near where I live. </p>

<p>I want to study psychology, child development, and Autism (UCLA has a program for Autism). </p>

<p>I have wanted to go to UCLA for as long as I can remember. If you have any advice, let me know please.

<p>Run with the autism thing and you can probably make up for the somewhat low GPA. What are your SAT-II subject test scores like? (You need at least two, preferably three).</p>

<p>I would say you have a fairly decent chance of getting in.</p>

<p>Your UC GPA is rather low. But I agree with TheHutt, capitalize on your involvement with autism in your essay and you’re golden.</p>
