Lol, in at Duke?! With such certainty! DTan, you are either incredibly unaware, or just silly. Dude is not even in top 5%, whereas Duke, NW, Chi, and co reject thousands of vals a year? OP has good chance with those SATs, though class rank is low for Stanford/Duke/Dartmouth/Columbia.

So even with above a 4.0 GPA at Stanford, my chances are lower at that than at Columbia? And, I thought WashU in-state was much more difficult than out of state... at least, that's what people at my school say.

Actually, Stanford recalculates GPA on an unweighted basis, so your grades will not be above 4.0 there. And they also don't consider non-academic classes, which means your GPA can only go down (assuming you got As in your PE classes).

And which WashU? The St.Louis one? Then clearly your chances are going to be much lower than "99%".

Well, even so, my unweighted GPA would be well over my unweighted GPA 9-12, calculated at about a 3.944 unweighted GPA 10-12, seeing as my only PE credits were in 9th grade.
Also, WashU the St. Louis one... I didn't even know there was another one. What would be my chances at that WashU?
And, is Stanford still the biggest reach(bigger than Columbia, I mean) even though my GPA would be higher at Stanford then at Columbia?
